Here at Second Chance Dooks rescue we currently have 35 rescues. Ranging from abuse/neglect, severe medical issues and simply unloved and unwanted Ferrets. No ferret no matter what condition is turned away.
All ferrets are switched and fed top kibble mix, vetted as needed, socialized, Given nice big comfy cages, lots of toys, tubes, tons play time and more love than they know what to do with! Giving them a safe and healthy environment where they can learn to trust and remember how to be ferrets again
Many of our ferrets are considered unadoptable due to age, lifetime illnesses or behavioral problems. We call them "lifers" they will happily live at the shelter for the rest of their dookin days.
We also have many adoptable ferrets. Please feel free to message to set up a visit and do a meet and greet. Our ferrets love new hooman friends to play with!
SCD is 100% funded by my bedding sales and auction items covering needs like high quality kibble, litter, puppy pads, wipes, paper towel, disinfectants, medications, vetting, transportation, freeze dried raw, treat oils and so much more.
